"Lucas" is a watercolor and  was commissioned as a memorial gift for the Southern Utah Wilderness Alliance office staff. Lucas was a staff member who documented the wilderness potential of the Basin and Range and Colorado
Plateau areas. He died in a kayaking accident. This adventure portrait was painted from a photograph.
